Outside of the Battle Arena
Coincidentally, Teias, Dalena, Serle, Miya, Jordan, Akane, Luso, and Marche, all had the same class in the first period of the scheduled 'day A'. They were all waiting outside of the Battle Arena awaiting the 8:00 am bell to ring, for them to all flood inside the classroom.
"Pokemon Battle Tactics, Mr. Fubiyashi..." Marche read his schedule out loud.
"What do you think the teacher's like!?" Dalena asked excitedly.
"Probably just some boring old fuck, he's a teacher... after all." Jordan told.
"Boring?" A young man, looking around his mid-20's, exitted the battle arena, only to overhear Jordan's comment. "Old?" He questioned, again.
"God dammit! They always do this." Jordan cried.
"I'm Mr. Fubiyashi, and I will be your Pokemon Battle Tactics instructor." The man laughed.
A loud bell rang, and Teias checked his watch, that was indeed the 8:00 am bell. Multiple students of all grades (10, 11, and 12) all entered the battle arena. This is obviously quite an active class, as there are no desks or chairs, and everyone was forced to stand. The class was populated with at least 50 students.
"As I've already said, my name is Mr. Fubiyashi, and I am your Pokemon Battle Tactics teacher." Mr. Fubiyashi repeated. "Any questions or concerns before I start the lesson?" He asked.
"Yeah! Over here!" Jordan shot his hand up into the air, and Mr. Fubiyashi pointed at Jordan. "Uhh, yeaaaah. Why are you not old?" Jordan asked.
"Idiot!" Akane smacked Jordan across the face. Fortunately, Jordan's face healed from the burns he had previously. "What kind of question is that!?"
"It's quite okay, I get that question lots." Mr. Fubiyashi responded.
"YEAH... Ow.." Jordan rubbed his face in pain.
"I'm only 24 years old, you don't need much learning to become a Pokemon Instructor. You just need to have a good way with Pokemon, and have participated in all your years of education. Personally, I love Pokemon, so I decided my career path on Pokemon Instructor." Mr. Fubiyashi explained. "Now that we're done with that, you may all release your given starter Pokemon from their Pokeballs."
One after another, all the students began unleashing their Pokemon. Multiple cries of a variety of Pokemon were heard, as they were released from their Pokeballs.
"Wow, Teias... That's the first time I seen your Pokemon..." Dalena referenced Teias' Charmander. "It's so cute!"
"Chaar?~" The salamander Pokemon puzzledly looked at Dalena.
"Indeed, this Charmander here is a cute Pokemon." Mr. Fubiyashi picked up Teias' Charmander. "All Pokemon come in different shapes and sizes, and should be cared for accordingly. They also each have distinct personalities and diets." Mr. Fubiyashi held Teias' Charmander in one arm and took a Pokeball out of his pocket with the other. "Shellshocker, come out." Mr. Fubiyashi released a large Blastoise from his Pokeball.
"BLAAASTOIIISE!~" The Pokemon let out a loud roar.
"Whoa... That thing look strong." Serle mentioned.
"Pip..lup.." Miya's Piplup was a bit frightened.
"It's okay! It won't hurt you." Miya picked her Piplup up and kept it in her arms.
"Shellshocker...?" Luso questioned.
"It's my Pokemon's nickname." Mr. Fubiyashi told. "Lad, you there, who owns this Charmander."
"Y-Yeah?" Teias replied, startled.
"Your Charmander burns with an eager flame... Have you decided to nickname it?" Mr. Fubiyashi asked.
"Yes, actually. I thought of a name." Teias answered. "Hitokage."
Teias' Charmander perked his senses, then jumped out of Mr. Fubiyashi's arms and ran to Teias' side. "Char-char!"
"Interesting. He seems to respond well to it." Mr. Fubiyashi told.
"I kind of figured he would.." Teias responded, and everyone seemed to wonder, but noone asked.
"Anyway, now that our introductions are over. I'll start today's lesson." Mr. Fubiyashi said, as multiple students began to tune in and listen intentively. "Today's lesson will be about basic type match-ups." Mr. Fubiyashi paced to and fro the Battle Arena. "I will randomly assign each of you with trainers that either have a type advantage, or type disadvantage, with their Pokemon. Luck of the draw!" Mr. Fubiyashi then began pairing up students, with type matched Pokemon.
Mr. Fubiyashi placed Teias with a girl named 'Tanwen Daisuki'.
"Awwh, your Charmander's a cutie!" Tanwen complimented, as she stood on one side of a battle arena.
"Uhm, thanks." Teias replied, nervously.
"You are, too!" Tanwen winked at Teias, and Teias suffered a slight shock.
"Uhh, thanks..." Teias was blushing and Tanwen was laughing.
"Care to up the stakes a little?" Tanwen suggested.
"What did you have in mind?" Teias asked.
"If you win, I'll give you a kiss. But if I win ... We'll save that for later." Tanwen laughed.
"Wh-What!?" Teias panicked, but it was too late. Tanwen already called her Mudkip in the arena.
"Mudkip, go!" Tanwen commanded her Mudkip to jump into the battling arena.
"Err, Hitokage! Attack!" Teias yelled, and Hitokage jumped into the battling arena and ran at the Mudkip.
"Mudkip, Water Gun!" Tanwen's Mudkip shot a stream of water at Hitokage.
"Dodge it, and keep running for a Scratch attack!" Hitokage rolled out of the way, and maintained his path running at Mudkip.
"Hold your position, Mudkip.." Tanwen ordered, and Mudkip stood her ground.
"Hitokage, now!" Hitokage lifted his claw for a Scratch attack.
"Mudkip, use Mud Slap!" Mudkip slapped a pool of mud at Hitokage, and he was temporarily blinded, and missed with his Scratch attack.
"Wipe your eyes, hurry!" Hitokage desperately tried to scrape the mud of his face, but it took too long.
"Use your Iron Tail attack, followed with a Water Gun!" Mudkip slapped Hitokage in the back of the head with her tail, then spewed a beam of water at him.
"Face the water, don't fear it!" Teias commanded, as Hitokage was desperately scraping mud off his eyes.
"Char-Char?" Hitokage questioned.
"Just do it! Trust me!" Hitokage sprawled onto his feet, and turned his head towards the constant stream of water coming at him. He looked directly at it, and the water washed the mud right off his face, clearing his vision.
"Uh-oh ... Mudkip, Tackle him!" Tanwen yelled, and Mudkip charged at Hitokage.
"Hitokage, run at her and use Dragon Rage!" Hitokage charged at Mudkip, so they were both running at eachother at intensively high speeds. Hitokage swung his claw upwards, and a swirling twister of energy shot at Mudkip and lifted her up into the air.
"Mudkip! Water Gun!" Tanwen called desperately.
"Mud-kip!" Mudkip attempted to aim the stream of water, as she was spinning around the Dragon Rage attack.
"Block it Hitokage, don't let it get to you!" Hitokage blocked all the water that came at him.
Soon enough, Dragon Rage calmed down and came to a stop. "Okay, Mudkip! Use your Aqua Wheel attack!"
"Kip!" Mudkip began shooting water from her mouth, then rolled into a ball while being propelled by water.
"Aqua Wheel...?" Teias questioned.
"Yep, made it up myself! It works similar to Flame Wheel!" Tanwen claimed excitedly.
"Kip-Kip-Kip!" Mudkip was nearing Hitokage.
"Hitokage, stand your ground, slow her down!" Teias commanded. Hitokage stopped Mudkip with his bare hands, although as difficult as it was. "SEISMIC TOSS!" Hitokage swung Mudkip overhead, and spun around three times, then let go of Mudkip. Mudkip flew into the arena wall and that was it for Mudkip.
"Oh my, you really wanted that kiss didn't you!" Tanwen called Mudkip back to her Pokeball, and winked at Teias. Afterwards she vividly skipped over to Teias.
"Uhm... It was nice battling you." Teias complimented, and held his hand out.
"Likewise!" Tanwen shook Teias' hand. "Oh yeah..." Tanwen mentioned.
"Huh?" Teias asked.
"A deal's a deal!" Tanwen went on her tippy-toes and kissed Teias right on the cheek. "Byee!"
"Uhm..." Teias was at a loss for words.
"Char?" Hitokage wondered.
"Haha... You did good out there, boy." Teias pet Hitokage on the head.
Shortly after, Mr. Fubiyashi came along,"Teias, did you just succeed in your battle?" he asked. asked, excitedly.
"Uhm, yes. Why, sir?" Teias questioned.
"Because! You were at the type disadvantage, everyone else with the type disadvantage lost their battles! You're the only one to succeed..." Mr. Fubiyashi explained. A large bell rang, dismissing the students from the classroom. "See you all tomorrow, we'll discuss more battle concepts next class." Mr. Fubiyashi dismissed, as all the students retrieved their Pokemon and ran out the door.
"It's hard to consider that a two hour period, it went by so fast..." Teias mentioned.
"Yeah, I agree with you, Teias." Marche told.
"I blame the time zone of Itazkura." Jordan said, stupidly.
"...Time zone has nothing to do with anything." Luso claimed.
"Exactly!" Jordan yelled out.
"I'd hit you, but unfortunately, I'm not in the mood." Akane said.
"It's like .. 10 o' clock!" Jordan screamed. Akane spun around and smacked Jordan across the face with her school bag.
"Hehe... You set yourself up for that one!" Miya laughed.
10:00 am
Science Lab, Room 142
The current period was science class. Science was something that Teias wanted nothing to do with. Why they even have it at Itazkura is quite questionable. Dalena, on the other hand, was in love with science. She even already mastered her grade 10 science course, and currently attends class with Teias in the 11th grade. Oddly enough, Miya was the same, attending the 11th grade science class. Dalena volunteered to do Teias' homework for him all the time, and even stays up all night with him studying key concepts before tests and quizzes.
Teias nervously entered the classroom. Thinking, "I hope Dalena has my back in this class, I'm absolutely horrible in science."
"Hello students. I am Miss Kiyani, your science teacher." The teacher announced. Miss Kiyani was a beautiful woman, unlike most teachers this day and age. "As you may have already observed, there are name tags on desks, scattered among the classroom. If your name tag is on a desk, that's where you will be seated for the rest of the semester."
Teias froze, instantly. Teias, Serle, Dalena, Miya, Jordan, Akane, and Luso were all scattered across the classroom, none of them being closer than four desks away from eachother. "Oh... Damn..." Teias thought to himself. He looked at the desk next to his, and read the name tag, "Tanwen Daisuki... Why does that sound familiar?" He asked himself.
"Hi, cutie!" The girl from earlier that Teias battled took her seat beside Teias.
Teias began to sweat excessively, "Uhm... Hi." Teias said, nervously.
"Excuse me, miss?" Jordan raised his hand to ask Miss Kiyani a question.
"Yes?" She answered.
"May I be excused from this class?" Jordan asked, stupidly, at that.
"No, sir. You may not." Miss Kiyani scoffed.
"Fair enough." Jordan took his seat.
"Hehe, what a silly boy." Tanwen laughed.
"Yeah... I know him, unfortunately." Teias laughed as well.
"Before I start the lesson plan, class. I will have to introduce the 'Pokemon Pal Park', new technology to help entertain your Pokemon during class time." Miss Kiyani explained. "During classes where your Pokemon are inactive, we thought it would be unusually cruel to have them in their Pokeballs, bored." Miss Kiyani walked over to a row of machines. "These here, are Pokemon transporters. What it does, is it scans for your finger print, observe." Miss Kiyani held her finger to the machine. "Then you insert your Pokeballs into the Pokemon transporter." Miss Kiyani took a Pokeball from her bag, and inserted it into the machine. "Do not be alarmed, for the transporter will take your Pokeball. What this does, is it transfers your Pokemon over to a park specifically for Pokemon, and when you want your Pokemon back, you simply put your finger back on the machine, and you will receive your Pokeballs." Miss Kiyani concluded her explanation. "Now, I would like you all to insert your Pokeballs into the various Pokemon transporters." She commanded.
All of the students got out of their desks and put their Pokeballs into the Pokemon transporter machines. When everyone was done, they took their seat and Miss Kiyani began the day's lesson. Teias and Tanwen decided to talk for the whole class, out of boredom, completely ignoring Miss Kiyani's lesson.
"So, Teias, do you have any siblings?" Tanwen asked.
"I have a little sister." Teias answered. "Her name is Dalena."
"Awh, she sounds so cute." Tanwen told.
"Haha, yeah. I guess she is..." Teias replied. "How about you, do you have any siblings?"
"I have an older sister. Her name is Haruka." Tanwen mentioned. "She's 24 years old and she lives in Tokyo."
"Oh, that's cool." Teias said. "Uhm.. I'm not sure how to go about this... but..." Teias started.
"Yeeees?" Tanwen encouraged Teias to go on.
"Do you want to... You know... Ha--" Teias was interrupted.
"Are you asking me out?" Tanwen laughed.
"Yes-- Err, well no... Sorta! We'll be with a group!" Teias explained.
"Do you seem to be having problems with my lesson plan, sir?" Miss Kiyani asked, noticing the startled Teias.
"Uhm, no ma'am." Teias answered.
"Simple question then, what does DNA stand for?" Miss Kiyani tested Teias, to see if he was listening in class.
"Uhm... uhh..." Teias tried to kill time. "I wish Dalena sat closer to me..." Teias thought.
"Deoxyribonucleic acid..." Tanwen whispered.
"Huh? Oh! Uh, it's such an easy concept, everyone knows it." Teias laughed. "Deoxyribonucleic acid."
"Very well, I'll carry on with my lecture." Miss Kiyani said.
"Thanks alot." Teias thanked Tanwen.
"No problem!" Tanwen told. "Besides, if you would've gotten it wrong, she may have moved you away from me..." Tanwen said.
Teias and Tanwen began conversing for the rest of the class, avoiding the eyes of the now claimed evil Miss Kiyani. Not that Teias didn't enjoy talking to Tanwen, but both were relieved when the bell for lunch rang, retrieving their Pokemon from the transporter machine.
12:00 pm
Itazkura Food Court
Teias and Dalena seperated from everyone in the Itazkura food court, because Dalena wanted some ice cream, how typical. Both of them were keeping to themselves, just eating their ice cream... When suddenly, Teias was grabbed at the arm by some girl in the 10th grade.
"Uhm, hi!?" Teias said, while trying not to drop his ice cream.
Dalena just stared.
"You, you, you look strong! Please help!" The girl panicked.
"Huh!?" Teias wondered.
"Please! Please! Just .. follow me!" The girl ran off, and Teias had no choice but to run after her.
Dalena didn't know whether or not to keep eating her ice cream, or to follow her older brother and this completely random girl.
"Where are we going!?" Teias yelled, while running through the hallways after this girl.
"Just on one of the sun decks!" She cried.
"You can tell me your name at least! And why I'm doing this!" Teias asked, while following the girl.
"Ritz, Ritz Sugimori. I need you to help my friend!" She yelled.
"Help him with what!?" Teias questioned. Ritz burst through some door and bolted up a few steps to reveal a bunch of students circling two other students.
"What, lawyer boy! Can't take a hit!?" One said, as he punched the other straight in the face.
The other was breathing heavily, and was bleeding nearly everywhere on his face.
"Help him, please!" Ritz cried.
"Fight, fight, fight, fight!" One of the students in the crowd was yelling quite loudly... Upon closer inspection, it was Jordan.
"Jordan!?" Teias yelled.
"Oh hey, dude! Isn't this awesome!?" Jordan laughed.
"N-No! It's not!" Teias replied, as he ran and physically SPEARED the one student to the ground.
"Who are you, you little punk!?" He yelled, as he punched Teias straight in the nose.
"Oh no, not these guys again... Leynart, these are the kids I told you about. There's bound to be a white one around here somewhere." That guy from earlier, Phoenix, was telling this apparent 'Leynart' character.
"Apollo... Are you okay!?" Ritz comforted the boy that was being attacked, before Teias stepped in, that is.
"Yeah... I'm fine." Apollo told, as he wiped a bunch of blood off his face, but the blood wouldn't stop flowing.
"Here, you're gonna need this..." Ritz took off her shirt revealing a bright pink bra, and handed the shirt to Apollo to use as a towel.
"Whoa whoa whoa! I can't take that, you need it!" Apollo panicked, and it seemed like his nose was gushing even more blood than it was before.
"No, it's fine!" Ritz tossed him the shirt, and he began wiping his face. Teias and Leynart were still rolling around the ground violently hitting eachother.
"Oh yeah baby, come on! Take off some more!" Phoenix taunted Ritz, and laughed.
Jordan walked over to Ritz, who had no shirt. "Take this, you need it more than I do." Jordan took off his shirt, and Ritz put it on. "YOU SON OF A BITCH!" As soon as Ritz put on the shirt, Jordan sprinted and shoulder checked Phoenix to the ground. Without Naoki around, Phoenix could fight all he wanted, and that is exactly what he did.
"Stupid boys!" Tanwen yelled, she arrived at the scene with Akane and Dalena. Although they don't know eachother, Tanwen remembered that Dalena was Teias' little sister, and decided to go fetch her, and Dalena wanted to get Akane. Tanwen pulled Teias away from Phoenix, and Akane pulled Leynart away. Dalena grabbed Phoenix and pulled him away, while Ritz took Jordan and restrained him.
"How many times does this need to be said, can't you boys settle your problems with Pokemon battles!?" Dalena screamed.
"Hmph, that sounds like a plan." Leynart scoffed.
"Girls spoil everything!" Phoenix claimed.
This comment angered Akane, although she kept to herself.
"A double battle then." Ritz said.
"Teias and Jordan, battling Phoenix and ..." Akane stopped, she didn't know the other boy's name.
"Leynart Mitsuru." Leynart introduced himself.
"No..." Apollo stood up, and wiped the last of the blood off his face. "I'll battle... This is my problem!" Apollo yelled.
"Are you sure you can do this?" Teias asked.
"I'm positive." Apollo said.
"Then I'll back off." Jordan withdrew himself into the crowd.
"Okay then!" Ritz yelled. "Teias and Apollo, against Leynart and Phoenix."
"No!" Apollo yelled again.
"What is it this time!?" Teias asked.
"I don't need your help." Apollo said. "If you must fight, we'll do it in two rounds of battles."
"Alright then. If this kid's so strong, let him take me." Phoenix suggested.
"Okay! Then it's settled." Ritz called out. "You two ready?" She asked.
"I was born ready." Apollo laughed, pulling the Pokeball off his belt.
"You're in for something special..." Phoenix claimed. "Pidgeotto, go get 'em!" Phoenix threw his Pokeball into the battling area, revealing the newly evolved Pidgeotto.
"His Pokemon looks different..." Dalena pointed out.
"That's because it evolved... It's now much stronger than it was before..." Akane explained.
"Haha, that's right. Not a chance for you there, lawyer boy!" Phoenix laughed.
Apollo ignored this comment, and swallowed his fear, "Squirtle, you can do this!" Apollo threw his Pokeball, revealing the tiny turtle Pokemon.
"Pidgeotto, use your Gust attack!" Pidgeotto whipped up a large Gust with his wings, that swirled into a maelstrom at Squirtle.
"Water Gun attack!" Squirtle began spraying water from out his mouth, only for it to be diminished by the strong wings of Gust. Soon enough, the Gust had reached Squirtle and swirled him around.
"Quick Attack, hurry!" Pidgeotto's beak glew a bright-white, and he with drew his wings and dived down at Squirtle.
"Withdraw, before you get hurt!" Squirtle pulled his head, legs, and arms into his shell and waited for the attack to be over.
"Scratch that, Pidgeotto. Use your Twister attack!" Pidgeotto's beak faded its glowing colour, and Pidgeotto flapped his wings to reveal a large green tornado. The Twister attack engulged Squirtle, as he was in his shell.
"Rapid Spin!" Squirtle began spinning the opposite direction as the Twister was swirling, eventually forcing the Twister to die down. "Now, use Skull Bash!" Squirtle, remaining in his shell, began spewing water out of the hole his head goes in, and propelled himself at Pidgeotto.
"Pidgeotto, wait." Pidgeotto maintained his position in the air. As Squirtle shot himself at Pidgeotto... "Dodge it, and use Steel Wing!" Pidgeotto moved out of the way, then smacked Squirtle to the ground with Steel Wing. "Now, Whirlwind!" Pidgeotto whipped up a large whirlwind, which affected almost everyone observing this battle.
"Squiirtlee~" Squirtle was panicking as he was shot into his own trainer, Apollo.
"Come on, Squirtle! I believe in you!" Apollo set Squirtle on the ground. "Use your Water Gun attack!" Squirtle shot water at Pidgeotto again.
"Pidgeotto, Twister!" Pidgeotto flapped his wings, and a large green Twister was launched at Squirtle, diminishing his Water Gun attack.
"No matter how hard I try... Tornado is always blocking my way!" Apollo cried. "Squirtle, we practiced this. Evasive maneuver!" Squirtle glanced at Apollo and nodded his head. He Withdrew in his shell and waited as the Twister reached him. "Now!" As the Twister was nearing Squirtle, he propelled himself with water again, but this time steering out of the way.
"That's amazing!" Tanwen yelled.
"Water Gun attack!" Squirtle steered behind Pidgeotto and sprung out of his shell. He contacted Pidgeotto with the Water Gun attack.
"Come on, Pidgeotto! Don't just stand around, Whirlwind him!" Pidgeotto turned around and flapped his wings as hard as he could. This was too much for Squirtle and he was blown back by the winds.
"Squir...tle...~" Squirtle was blown almost off the roof top, only holding on by one hand on the edge of the roof. Multiple students were worried, and some even tried to stop Phoenix from delivering the final blow.
"PIDGEOTTO, FINISH HIM! Air Slash attack!" Pidgeotto sadly nodded his head, then swung his right wing. A slash of wind neared Squirtle. Most of the students covered their eyes, watching the suffering Squirtle possibly plummet to his death, but... Apollo wasn't worried. The Tiny Turtle Pokemon fell off the edge, saddening many of the Itazkura students watching the battle.
"Wait for it... Wait for it..." Apollo said to himself.
"SQUIRTLE~" Squirtle propelled himself with water up the building, then sprung out of his shell.
"Skull Bash attack, quickly!" Squirtle went back in his shell, and while he was still in the air, he descended upon Pidgeotto and bashed Pidgeotto into the ground.
"What the hell!? Pidgeotto!" Phoenix cried. "Get up! Get up!"
"Squirtle, Water Gun!" Squirtle peered at Apollo and nodded 'No,' at Apollo.
"Squiirtleee!" Squirtle let out a a beam of ice at Pidgeotto, encasing it in a block of ice.
"I guess... Apollo and Squirtle win!" Ritz yelled out, and the students watching the battle wiped their tears and cheered for Apollo.
"You did great out there, buddy!" Squirtle ran to Apollo, and Apollo picked him up as they both cheered for their very first battle's victory.
"Dammit..." Phoenix said out loud, as he returned the frozen Pidgeotto to his Pokeball.
"I hope you enjoy your Pidgeotto-sicle! You little bitch!" Jordan laughed, and Phoenix didn't reply.
"You." Leynart Mitsuru pointed his finger at Teias.
"...Me?" Teias questioned.
"Yes, you." Leynart said again. "You seem to have real potential."
"How do you know this?" Teias asked.
"He does, he does!" Tanwen yelled out.
"Yes, he does..." Dalena agreed.
"I want to battle you." Leynart told.
"Uh..." Teias thought a bit, he let Hitokage out of his Pokeball. "You up for this, Hitokage?" Teias asked.
"Char-Char!" Hitokage nodded his head.
"Alright then, you're on!" Teias laughed.
"Hmph." Leynart walked to the other side of the roof top.
"I guess we have here, another battle!" Ritz yelled out.
"Out of the one battle I've seen of Teias... I think he's the best battler we're ever going to see." Akane told.
"What makes you think that?" Tanwen asked.
"Well... He beat you, flat out, with a type advantage." Akane mentioned.
"HA! I could take him!" Tanwen laughed, and Akane giggled slightly.
"I'm ready when you are, punk." Leynart told.
"Okay then, Hitokage! Get out there!" Teias commanded, and Hitokage jumped into the field of battle.
"Magby, take him out." Leynart threw his Pokeball, revealing a Magby.
"A Magby... Huh..." Teias thought to himself. "Hitokage, use Dragon Rage!" Teias commanded. Hitokage roared his name and swung his claw, a twister of swirling energy roared and blasted at the Magby.
"Magby, Fire Spin attack!" Leynart yelled out. Magby breathed a large tornado of fire that ran directly into Hitokage's Dragon Rage. The two attacks made a large explosion of smoke that blinded Hitokage.
"Hitokage, come on!" Teias too, was blinded from this, but Magby wasn't. From out of the smoke Hitokage could see Magby rushing towards him.
"Fire Punch!" Magby's claw blazed with fire and he struck Hitokage in the face. "Do you give up? Or do you still think you can face my Magby?" Leynart laughed.
"Don't give up, Hitokage!" Hitokage nodded his head. "Iron Tail attack!" Hitokage spun around and smacked Magby with his glowing white tail.
"Magby, Ember attack." Leynart's Magby jumped back from Hitokage and shot a ball of fire at Hitokage.
"Dodge it and counter back with Ember!" Hitokage dived out of the way and shot his own fireball back at Magby.
"Smokescreen attack!" Magby begin emitting smoke from his mouth, blinding Hitokage once again.
"I believe in you Hitokage, you can do this..." Teias cheered.
"Hitokage... He's really suffering." Dalena pointed out, as she saw the poor lizard Pokemon desperately clearing his eyes.
"Magby, use your Thunder-Fire punch combo!" Magby rushed from out of the smoke, with one fist blazed with fire, and another crackling with energy. He struck Hitokage with each fist and Hitokage was knocked to the ground.
"Come on! Get up and use your Iron Tail attack!" Hitokage jumped to his feet and smacked Magby once again with his Iron Tail.
"Magby, Thunder Punch!" Magby's fist crackled with lightning again, and he swung at Hitokage.
"Hitokage! Catch his fist and use your Seismic Toss attack!" As Magby swung at Hitokage's head, Hitokage stepped out of the way and caught Magby's arm. Hitokage lifted Magby over his head and spun him around three times. He let go and Magby flew into the wall with a large cloud of smoke emitting from all around him. Hitokage was heaving his chest, that last attack took all of his energy.
"Well... It looks like Mag--" But, Ritz was interrupted.
"MAGBY! You're better than this. Fire Blast attack!" Leynart commanded, which shocked the students of Itazkura. Magby stood up and shook his head left to right. He took a large breath of air and shot a large star shaped Kanji of Fire at Hitokage.
"Hitokage! Brace for impact!" But Hitokage was too tired... He helplessly stared into the Fire Blast as he suffered the deadly impact. "Hito..kage.." Teias dropped to his knees, mourning the knock out of his beloved Fire Pokemon.
"I guess this means I win." Leynart laughed. Leynart returned Magby to his Pokeball and walked away, arrogantly, as did the Itazkura students prospecting the battle.
"...PUNK!" Jordan screamed, remaining shirtless.
"I lost..." Teias panicked. He returned Hitokage to his Pokeball and stayed on his knees.
"It's okay Teias..." Dalena kneeled in front of her big brother and peered into his eyes.
"You did good... That's all that matters, right!?" Akane, as scary as she is, attempted to comfort Teias.
"It's okay, Teias! You did good... Really good." Tanwen kneeled beside Teias and pecked him on the cheek.
"Uhm.. uhh.." Teias suffered shock from the kiss on the cheek. His entire face flourished red as everyone else kind of tuned in to the question of who Tanwen was... But noone dared to ask.
"I'm sorry to intrude, but lunch is almost over.." Ritz told.
"Thanks for your uhm... Shirt... Ritz... It really helped. The bleeding stopped." Apollo handed Ritz's shirt to her.
"... It's okay, you can keep it." Ritz laughed.
The bell rang, and the 7 of them all headed to class, Jordan.. remaining shirtless.
1:00 pm
Room 302
After the earlier events, Jordan received a generic Itazkura gym shirt, saying his had been greatly damaged. Apollo's bleeding stopped and Ritz remained with Jordan's shirt on.
"Hello class, welcome to your first day of Pokemon Health and Care." A beautiful japanese woman greeted the new class. "I will be your instructor, Mrs. Ayame." Mrs. Ayame was the woman that gave Teias and his friends their starter Pokemon and assigned them their rooms. "First thing I'd like you to do is release your Pokemon from their Pokeballs and talk amongst yourselves for this entire class." This came as a large shock to most of the students, except for Jordan, who fails at school.
"Uhm, miss." Teias spoke up, "What does this have to do with school work?" He asked.
"This is Pokemon Health and Care, to maintain a happy and healthy Pokemon, you should build yourself a large basis of friends." Mrs. Ayame smiled a crooked smile.
Nothing really important happened for the class, and time seemed to pass by really quick. But in the middle of the class...
"Teias... Teias!" Dalena called. Dalena and her Pichu were seperated from the group of Teias, Serle, Miya, Jordan, Akane, Luso, Marche, Ritz, Tanwen, and Apollo.
"Uh... Hold on you guys." Teias told the group, then he walked off with Hitokage to meet Dalena. "What is it, sis?" Teias asked, curiously. Although, he knew what was coming... he knew exactly what was coming.
"Who's thaaat?" Dalena asked, smiling widely. And there it was, that's what Teias KNEW was coming for him.
"Oh, her!? Uhm.. Just a friend." Teias blushed, Hitokage appearing to be LAUGHING at him.
"How'd you know I was talking about Tanwen? I never pointed at anyone." Dalena laughed, and Pichu joined in the laughter.
A large surprise overwhelmed Teias. "Well... uhm... well..." This was the surprised Teias speaking. Teias was normally cool and collective, almost never panicking. He swallowed his weakness and began to pick his words, "It's pretty obvious. She's the only one in the group you haven't been introduced to."
Dalena was a little disappointed, she thought she could've really had the upper hand on Teias this time, but she didn't. She KNEW Teias - even the slightest bit - had a crush on Tanwen. She knew she couldn't outwit Teias, so she came out with, "Ask her out!"
"Wh-What!? Why!?" Once again, Teias was a little overwhelmed and didn't logically pick his words.
"You like her. I know it!" Dalena yelled at her stubborn brother.
"But what about---" Teias was cut off.
"You and Alison are over!" Dalena cried. Teias gave himself a moment of silence, and Dalena repeated, "You like Tanwen, I know it!"
"...and what if I do?" Teias asked, but this time, actually controlling his words.
"I knew it! You do like her!" Dalena told happily. This marks the first time in history that Dalena's ever been able to squeeze something out of her brother. "You should take her out somewhere!"
"But... Where would I take her?" Teias asked, stupidly. Hitokage pinched his nose and nodded his head.
"Take her to the movies, stupid!" Dalena laughed. Ayumi agreed with this, and nodded her head up and down, accordingly.
"How would I ask her?" Teias asked, once again, quite stupidly.
"Idiot! You're smart, you'll think of something!" Dalena had an evil look in her eyes. The same look back home, that would always get them into trouble.
"What do you m---" Again, Dalena interrupted Teias.
"Tanwen! Come over here for a minute!" Dalena laughed, "Hehe, bye Teias!" Dalena skipped off, merrily, and Teias was trembling at the knees.
"-Kip-Kip-Kip!" Tanwen's Mudkip came running and Tackled Hitokage, at utter randomness.
"Char!" Hitokage got up and stared down the Mudkip, who had hid behind Tanwen after seeing Hitokage's glare.
"Hey Teias, what's the matter?" Tanwen observed Teias sweating excessively, "You look like you just seen a ghost."
"Uhh... well... uhm... I'm... not... really... uhm... sure... uhh..." Teias was talking at an incredibly slow pace. Hitokage, in anxiety, had bit Teias at the ankles. "OW!" He screamed. "Okay, well... I'm not sure how I'd go about this, but..."
"Are you asking me out?" Tanwen smiled.
"Uhm, well... Yes." Teias was relieved, he wasn't so horrible at this after all... he thought, at least.
"Yes! Yes! It's a yes! I'll go out with you." Tanwen screamed excitedly.
"I'll pick you up at...?" Teias started.
"6 o'clock sharp! At room A-511." Tanwen smiled widely, and skipped off.
Teias stood there, staring at seemingly nothing, with a demoralized look in his face.
Dalena returned, seeing Tanwen leaving, "Sooo, what'd she say!?" She asked.
"She...She...She...said..." Teias couldn't let the answer leave his lips, and shuddered to reveal his sentence.
"She said no.. didn't she? It's okay, it's her loss, not yours." Dalena told, and Pichu pulled on Teias' pant leg, questionably.
"She said yes!" Teias happily exclaimed, and finally completing his sentence.
"Really!? She actually said yes!?" Dalena exclaimed, while Pichu was jumping up and down.
"Ha... ha-ha... why do you sound so surprised?" Teias calmed himself, and returned to his typical cool and collective state, "It was a done deal, we all know it!"
"..." Dalena stared at her big brother blankly, "Pichu!" on command, Pichu jumped up Teias' leg and up his arm then pounced at his face.
"Pi-chow!" Pichu let out a slight thundershock while attached to Teias' face, then jumped down and hid behind Dalena's leg.
"... OW!" Teias squeeled, "The hell was that for!?"
"Tehe!" Dalena giggled, "Just 'cause I looove you," she laughed.
"Pull that move off one more time, and I'm going to tell that nice boy Marche o'er there, that you wet the bed until you were 9 years old," Teias grinned widely and Hitokage was rolling on the floor laughing.
"No! No! No!" Dalena squeeled, and then Pichu too, joined Hitokage in the rolling and laughing, "Aiyeeeeh!" Dalena kicked Teias in the shins extremely hard and ran away.
"Ow, dammit!" Teias collapsed to the ground and grabbed his shin in horrid pain, "That's it, bed-wetter!" Teias yelled, he got up and ran towards Marche, "Hey, Marche!" he yelled.
"Huh?" Marche was playing with his Trapinch, but turned around when he heard Teias call his name.
"Wanna hear something fuuuunny?" Teias asked.
"Teeeiiaaas!" Dalena whined.
"Well..." Teias was interrupted.
"TEIAS LIKES TANWEN!" Dalena screamed. Serle, Miya, Jordan, Akane, Luso, Ritz, Apollo, Marche... and most importantly, Tanwen, all stared at Teias.
"Uhh.. uhm.." Teias mumbled, but then the bell rang dismissing the children from school.
Teias, Dalena, Serle, Miya, Jordan, Akane, Luso, Ritz and Apollo all went to the cafeteria, discussing what they were all going to do. Tanwen left with her room-mate, and Marche was nowhere to be found.
"So... What do you all want to do?" Serle asked.
"OH SHI--" Teias screamed.
"The hell's your problem?" Jordan asked.
"I... have a date with Tanwen..." Teias said.
"Awwwh! That's cute!" Akane commented.
"Awh! Yeah it is! It's so cute!" Ritz added.
"...Not when you don't have any money..." Teias complained.
"HA-HA! YOU FUCKING LOSER!" Jordan yelled, and Serle joined in the laughing.
"Oh... here!" Apollo handed a 50$ bill to Teias, "It's the least I could do for you guys, since you all helped me out!"
"W-Wow, thanks!" Teias took the money and ecstaticly shook Apollo's hand.
"And hey! Buy her something nice!" Luso handed Teias a 30$ bill and Teias reacted the same way towards Luso.
"Thanks but... I wouldn't know what to buy her..." Teias whined.
"You and me!" Akane squeeled, "I'll take you gift shopping! We're going to have so much fun!" Akane grabbed Teias by the arm and pulled him out of the cafeteria.
"Shopping!? Jordan! Serle! HELP ME!!" Teias screamed, regardless, noone came to his aid.
"...Now that's a trooper..." Jordan laughed.
"I better head out too... Or else I'll be late for work," Apollo dismissed himself and left the group to get ready for work.
"Speaking of which... I should go get a job, too..." Serle said, "I could use the money, since my parents won't be paying for everything anymore..."
"Oh, me too! Serle! I wanna come!" Miya jumped in excitement at the thought of the money.
"Hey! Me too! We should so totally work together!" Dalena yelled. The two screamed in excitement and took off out of the cafeteria, with Serle behind them.
Jordan, Luso, and Ritz were the only ones left that had no plans.
"You know... You two are on your own, I'm really tired..." Luso headed back to his dorm room to take a power nap.
Jordan was sweating uncontrollably, "Uhh... Wanna head back to my room?"
Ritz replied with only a giggle.
6:00 pm
Outside Dorm Room A-511
"Come on, Teias... Just knock on the door!" Akane pushed Teias at the door of Room A-511, as Teias was shivering in fear of confronting Tanwen.
"I... I can't do this!" Teias told, as he ran away from the door.
"Teias! Stop being a girl! We went shopping for just about 3 hours, and you're telling me it was all useless!?" Akane said.
"Uhh, YEAH!" Teias yelled, as he attempted to run away.
"Char...char?" Hitokage questioned as Akane bolted after Teias.
"Haha! No! You're going on this date, whether you like it or not!" Akane picked Teias up and lifted him up over her shoulder.
"Holy shit!" Teias screamed, as Akane ran back to room A-511.
"Now quit being a big baby! And your little Hitokage is coming with me..." Akane had a firm grip on Teias' legs and spun around in a full rotation, "While you go... ON THIS DATE!" Akane threw Teias at Tanwen's door.
"What's all this noise...?" Tanwen opened the door... conveniently.... as she questioned the large amount of noise Akane and Teias were making.
"OH SH---" Teias flew right through the door with a bouquet of roses in his hand.
"Uh-oh, let's get out of here Hitokage!" Akane picked up Hitokage and ran away before she was noticed by Tanwen.
"So... is it raining cute boys or something?" Hikari Sumuki, Tanwen's room-mate, questioned as she looked upon a nearly unconcious Teias that lay on the ground in front of her.
"Sur...prise...?" Teias mumbled while getting up and handing Tanwen the roses.
"Ahah, how sweet~" Tanwen took the roses and placed them in a vase full of water, "Shall we go now?"
"Uh.. I guess so.." Teias answered, nervously.
"You kids have fun! And don't keep her out too long!" Hikari laughed as Tanwen and Teias closed the door behind them.
Teias nervously escorted Tanwen Daisuki to the underground subway station, where he'd take the subway across Itazkura, and take Tanwen to the Itazkura Cineplex.
On the subway, Teias carefully glanced at Tanwen only to see her giggling hysterically, "Uhm.. what's so funny?" Teias asked.
"Tehe~*, you! silly!" Tanwen giggled some more.
"How!? I haven't even said anything... funny... or.. at all.." Teias mumbled.
"Haha, I just think it's soooo cute how you're so scared!" Tanwen laughed.
"What!? Scared!? Nu-uh, no way, not me!" Teias argued.
"Okay Mr.Fearless, hehe~" Tanwen giggled.
"Hmph..." Teias felt that he was getting more comfortable talking to Tanwen. Although one thing that Tanwen and Teias didn't know was, Akane and poor old Hitokage were just down the same train spying on the two.
"Oh my god! What a loser!" Akane was observing Teias' behaviour.
"Char-char, char.. char?" Hitokage murmured.
"I understand you just as much as I understand this idiot owner of yours..." Akane complained.
"Mmm-mmm!" Hitokage jumped out of Akane's lap and ran down the train at Teias and Tanwen.
"Hey! oh shit- Get back here!" Akane yelled, then panicked, "Oh no... he's going to know I'm spying!"
"Char-Char!" Hitokage jumped and bit Teias right on the arm.
"Hey! Ow! Wa-What th--" Teias screamed but was interrupted by..
"Duskull! Use Confuse Ray!" Akane commanded, and she returned her Duskull to his Pokeball after Teias and Tanwen were left in a daze.
"Current stop- Itazkura Downtown, please exit the train carefully," The lady driving the train said on the train-wide speaker system.
"Uhh..what the.." Teias and Tanwen were in a dizzy state and unable to move out of the train.
"Oh - dammit!" Akane threw Teias and Tanwen outside of the train and ran out with Hitokage.
Teias and Tanwen eventually remembered what they were doing and how they got where they were, and began walking to the Itazkura Cineplex, which was only down the street from the train station. Teias and Tanwen agreed to watch "The Corruption" a movie about a group of friends that journey off to find the main character's kidnapped sister. Akane and Hitokage both got tickets to the same movie to keep an eye on Teias and Tanwen.
In the middle of the movie, the main character and one of the female protagonists were in the middle of a romantic scene, talking alone at a moonlit lake, only accompanied by the sound of the soft spoken wind, and the twinkles of the stars.
"Manesuki... I... wanted to tell you something," The main character, Matsumoto said to the girl, Manesuki.
"What is it, Matsumoto?" Manesuki asked him.
"Well.. It's actually.. a question.." Matsumoto replied, "Will you kiss me?" he asked.
"Oh my god! They're going to kiss, this is soooo romantic!" Tanwen blurted out.
"Pft, that's the cheesiest line I've ever heard in my life!" Teias laughed.
"Well, how would you go about kissing a girl, Teias?" Tanwen giggled, "Hmm?"
"Well.. uhh.." Teias started, nervously.
"That's exactly what I thought!" Tanwen interrupted, then laughed at Teias.
"That's unfair! You didn't let me finish..." Teias swallowed all his fear and grasped Tanwen's hands, "I'd look her in the eyes... Grab her hands... and tell her she's the most beautiful girl in the world..."
Tanwen smiled.. and actually leaned in to kiss Teias, but just as their lips were about to meet, a large screech was heard from the movie screen, interrupting Tanwen and Teias, causing them to look back at the movie.
"Manes--Manesuki!!" Matsumoto screamed. When Teias and Tanwen weren't watching, a stone arrow had pierced Manesuki right through the heart.
"Matsu..moto.." Manesuki cried, "Although... this arrow... pierces my heart..." Manesuki was gurgling blood from her mouth as she was talking, "it pains my heart more... to leave you... from this.. world.."
"Manesuki..." Matsumoto cried, "I.. love you, Manesuki" Matsumoto grasped Manesuki in his arms.
"Ha..ha..ha.." The main antagonist of the movie, Katsunaga, arrived at the scene of the still-dying Manesuki and crying Matsumoto.
"This was.. all you! Wasn't it, Katsunaga!?" Matsumoto screamed.
"Indeed, it was. You're too strong, I can't kill you, so I thought to myself... 'Why attack the shell of the Armadillo, when it's weakness is so vulnerable?' haha, I surprise myself! I'm just tooooo clever!" Katsunaga explained.
Tanwen and spying Akane were both in tears, while Hitokage and Teias had no idea what was going on. After the movie ended, Teias and Tanwen.. not to mention Akane and Hitokage, all took the subway back to Itazkura High and Teias escorted Tanwen to her dorm room.
9:00 pm
Outside Dorm Room A-511
"Tehe~* I had alot of fun tonight Teias!" Tanwen giggled.
"Haha, yeah! So did I!" Teias laughed.
"We should go out again some time..." Tanwen suggested.
"Yeah.. I think that's a good idea," Teias agreed.
Tanwen kissed Teias on the cheek, then gazed into his eyes. They both gave eachother a special stare that made both of their hearts melt.
"So.. is this like-- the part where we kiss?" Teias asked.
"Oh my god! You loser!" Tanwen laughed and leaned in to kiss Teias on the lips.
Before Teias and Tanwen could connect their lips.. "CHAR-CHAR!" Teias' Charmander, Hitokage, was running on all fours down the hallway awake from Akane Ketsueki, and interrupted Teias' kiss with Tanwen and hid behind him.
"You little bastard!" Akane was bleeding and part of her shirt was tattered, presumably from Hitokage.
"nn-nn! Char!" Hitokage was pulling on Teias' pant leg, pointing to the opposite end of the hallway - signifying to Teias that they should get the HELL out of there before Akane kicks the crap out of them both.
"Ahh... man!" Teias yelled, "We'll continue this another time, okay?" Teias pecked Tanwen on the cheek, and he and Hitokage ran down the hallway screaming.
"..The people he knows," Tanwen giggled to herself as an infuriated Akane ran past her.
As Teias arried into his dorm room he and Hitokage were out of breath, and he locked the door behind him, "Oh.. Hey Dalena.. Hey Miya.." Teias greeted.
"Uhm..Teias.. what's wr---" Dalena prompted.
"YOU OPEN THIS DOOR, BEFORE I HUFF, AND I PUFF, AND I KICK YOUR ASS!" Akane screamed.
"What!?-- That doesn't make any sense!?" Teias yelled back to Akane.
"It doesn't have to! I'm going to kill that little rat of yours!" Akane yelled, as she flailed on Teias' door, "... I'll get you when you're not paying attention, you little bastard," Akane stopped and went back to her room.
"So.. how was job hunting, girls?" Teias asked, as he took a seat on his bed.
"It was great! Me and Miya got a job at Okabe!*" Dalena told, cheerfully.
"Uhh.. What's Okabe!* ?" Teias asked, and Hitokage jumped into Dalena's lap.
"Okabe!* is a brand name clothing store, me and Dalena start on January 9th!" Miya squeeled.
"This Saturday!" Dalena yelled out.
"How about Serle?" Teias asked, "Did he find a job?"
"Serle got rejected..." Miya started.
"...from about 15 different stores," Dalena finished.
When Dalena and Miya were finished watching their favourite T.V shows, Miya returned to her room and Teias and Dalena both went to sleep.
